my "METAL HORSE" ~~

THANX to the guys + gals on their trip to SYDNEY AUSTRALIA... I got my DUCATI 998S! haha... actually it was a surprise to get a present such as this from AUSTRALIA. Felt like it was a gift from HK :P but the main thing was. I LOVED IT ^_^

A little background here. I first set my eyes on DUCATI at the age of ... ummm .. 12 I think, when dad was still thinking about getting a bike and changing over his bike license.

Ducati is best known for high performance motorcycles characterized by trellis-style frames and large capacity four-stroke, 90-degree L-twin engines featuring a desmodromic valve design. Due to their special desmodromic valve design, modern Ducatis remain among the dominant performance motorcycles available today. ^_^

The one I got is of course the DUCATI 998s ~~ 2002 MODEL. 136 hp, Ohlins steering damper (keeps front end stable), carbon fibre radiator shroud also GORGEOUS Marchesini wheels and pair of Brembo Corse P3/34 four pad calipers grpping new lighter discs. *@.@* waaaaaaaa

To people who want to check out more beautiful design from DUCATI click HERE!!!
ANDDD.. ANDDDD.. hehehehe... I will recommend allll toc check out the 2007 DUCATI HYPERMOTARD.... (picture below... @@ ...)

I DON'T DESERVE YOU ~~><~~

I can't believe I did this to my precious baby >< ... I thought I was careful with my precious, but I guess not. Yesterday night, after a gathering with some of my friend, I went back to the carpark to get my baby boy and go home. And thats when it happened ><. That carpark is like the one next to AUT.. another one of the WILSON CAR PARK, with the horribly narrow turn to go down each level of the carpark. During one of those turn, I got abit tooooo close to the side and *GREEEEE ARKKKKKKKKKK* MY PRECIOUS BABY BOY got flattened on the right side above the rear wheel >< ... arggggg still hurt sooo much to touch my hand over the scratch. poor baby ... ~~><~~

So NOW.. I am on the hunt for a gooood panel beater who can save my baby boy but not suck all my blood out of me so that I would not live to drive my baby when it has healed up.

Your car is FLOODED @@~~

Haha, okey... don't be mislead by my title. I don't literally mean my car has been FLOODED *water*. But just learn a new term today during a morning of car problem. Woke up to go to work today, usual procedure of starting up my car, going out to open the gate then driving off. But this time something weird happened. I went to start up my car, it started fine and then the engine DIED @@... ARGGGG... okey calmed myself down and started the engine again.... NOOOOooooo.... all I got was the noise of the fly wheel going round and round but nothing else... my car sounded like it was trying to go uphill with a full load. >< ... heart ponding as this was a new car after all, stuff like this are not suppose to happen to a new car. Luckily dad was still at home, so woke him up and got him to help me check on my baby. @@ SHOCK HORROR.. dad was also dumbfounded by this situation. Car battery was not flat as the wiper, signal etc was still working, everything was working except the main ENGINE. Well already late for work... it was already 830am.. aiii so call in to say I will be late due to *CAR PROBLEM* .... called AA and waited for them to arrive. Would have to say AA have really quick response. Within 15min they were at my gate ^_^ . The dude went through the procedure of asking, "so did you leave any light on??" haha... OF COZ NOT.. I AIN'T THAT CARELESS... *no I did not say that... * .... but haha not believing my word, he went and check on my car battery. Then he started talking in TECHNICAL TERMS @@.. noooooooo.... so the conversation kinda went like this.... CAR DUDE "Your battery has had it." IDIOT " WHAT... My battery has had it, it can't be, I left no light on... " CAR DUDE "No, your battery has had it...it seem like your car is flooded." IDIOT "..... Ha??.... flooded??... water?? *million thought went through mind as to how water got into my car... * ... haa???? ... @@ ....." CAR DUDE "... okey did you recently wash your car this weekend...." IDIOT " WOW HOW DID YOU KNOW @@..... *thinking this guy is really good...*...." CAR DUDE "... it happen to sooo many people during the weekend, its Saturday-idise for car.. haha ..." ... *... once I heard the phrase.. IT HAPPENED TO SO MANY PEOPLE.. i felt less dumb.. :P * CAR DUDE ".. your engine is flooded, which means your engine is flooded with petrol. .. etc etc etc " So on and on he went explaining what engine flooded mean, and I just went eye wide with the new knowledge for the day. ^-^ hohoho..... kinda a great start to the day really, learn something new and hahaha learn something my DAD don't even know about whohoo.... Anyway... because this phrase is soo cool I went and googled it up so that I can paste up the proper explanation. Hope this will help other people who end up waking up one day and having the car not starting up ^_^.
"A flooded engine is an internal combustion engine that has been fed an excessively rich air-fuel mixture that cannot be ignited. This is caused by the mixture exceeding the upper explosive limit for the particular fuel. An engine in this condition will fail to start until the excessively rich mixture has been cleared. It is also possible for an engine to stall from a running state due to this condition.

Engine flooding was a common problem with carburated cars, but newer fuel-injected engines are immune to the problem when operating within normal tolerances. Flooding usually occurs during starting, especially under cold conditions or by pumping the accelerator before or during starting. It can also occur during hot-starting; high temperatures may cause fuel in the carburator float chamber to evaporate into the inlet manifold, causing the air/fuel mixture to exceed the upper explosive limit. This is most often experienced in hot weather.

A severe form of engine flooding occurs when excessive liquid fuel enters the combustion chamber. This reduces the dead volume of the combustion chamber and thus places a heavy load on the starter motor, such that it fails to turn the engine. Damage (due to excessive compression and even dilution of the lubricating oil with petrol) can also occur.

Some Mazda-made Wankel rotary engines are notable for occasionally flooding themselves when turned off before reaching normal operating temperatures. When so flooded they are very hard to start and may require major shop work. "
