blitz meet impulse ~~

Blitz had the chance to meet its younger mate "Force Impulse" today. Don't think Blitz was too happy to meet him. ummmmm maybe jealousy. T-T poor thing, went through alot already, got attack by gloomy on the trip back from hk, lost abit of paint in the 12hr flight back to NZ. And then being the first creation of a noob, it doesn't have that good of a paint job. Not to mention it was kept in front of the computer, so it kinda got hit a few time on the head by the speaker falling over due to strong wind. Now the war scar on him is numerous (broken antenna, scratches everywhere, stuffed up paint work. -.- ) But I am sure it is still glad to have found a mate to "HA HA BA BA" hehe.....

First pic we can see Impulse flying in, Blitz giving him a WARM WELCOME by grabbing him in the head ... ummmm Here, we can see Blitz playing tap on the shoulder with Impulse... such a nice little guy...
We can see Impulse have realized it was BLITZ who was taping him on the shoulder. ^-^
Okey, bad pic here. Don't be fool by Impulse sad look. Blitz was NOT... I say WAS NOT BULLYING Impulse. @@ . Blitz would do no such thing... ummmmm NO HE WONT.. >< Anyway, quite glad to have 2 little SD Gundam at home now... Impulse still have his plane, which is still under construction. So will paste those up once they are finished.

In the mean time, went for my 2nd run/walk today to the beach and up the STAIR OF HELL... hahah... but quite stupid. 5min into the run I already twisted my ankle. BADLY tooo... just like the first time I twisted it by crashing my bike into a car. Yes I did say INTO A CAR.. but funny thing is... that car was stationary. -.- . Don't ask how I did it, I just did and ended up with a very badly twisted ankle that took MONTHS and MONTHS to heal.

Anyway, I think this ankle should be okey tmr ba, don't really wanna stop the running just because of a twisted ankle.

Okey I will leave the blog for now. I think I will go on and on and on if I keep typing so yea. SUMMER is here, so ENJOY the beach guys ^-^~~~

Impulse have LANDED~~

"Yes! I AM THE KING OF THE TABLE." says the little gundam, unaware that the world is much bigger then the table top and also that there is more then 1 gundam situated no more then 1m away from him -.- .

But as you can see, Force Impulse is very near the completion stage. Notice the nice shield, and the very thin looking gun. And oh yea, he has LEG NOW haha..... and a stand to sit on top of so he can POSE and pretend to fly :PHere he is with his little plane.

Notice the nice blue on the "skirt" and the nice little hand. Too bad you can't see much of the leg, but spend quite some time on the little yellow triangle and the blue color painting.
Here you should be able to see a hint of the yellow triangle on the leg, and maybe the blue. I tried out the black outline technique a friend mentioned. You mix the black acrylic paint with some meth so it get really watery. Then using a brush you pick up some of the liquid ink and just let it drip into the line area. Once the ink are in the line, it will just flow through and you will end up with a very nice and neat black thick line ^-^. That technique was used in the hand area. If you get any ink over the line, once the ink dried up you can just use a rubber to rub out the over-flow bit. But all I can say is, ENJOY GUYS coz this little dude is HOT.... hahahah... YEA!!!!!! ....... (after this guy is finish I feel like trying out airbrushing technique, will just need to get some proper ink and hook up my dad's equipment hohohoho..... yeaaaaaa airbrushing should be FUNNNNNN....... )

Force impulse *half* alive~~

OKEY, finally I have pasted photo of my FORCE IMPULSE which is still under construction. But here it is. After studing some youtube clip on how to paint a gundam, I begin my work on this little dude. I spend more time on this little guy then my first gundam, seeing I really should let the paint DRY before trying to paint another layer on. As you can see, the line was drawn in with gundam marker. I had fun painting the chest using paint brush and watering down the paint so that it goes on smoother and also being it is lighter, it will be much more easier to handle and manipulate hahaha.....
The light blue paint on its "skirt" is mix by me ga... hohoho... yesss I had heaps of fun mixing colour together hehehe.... but then the stench on the nail polish remover is rather sickening. (you should be able to see a bottle of the remover in the background of the photo, not to mention my baby mac sitting there playing music while I work hehehe)
The rear of the gundam, the white strap on the arm is actually STICKER.... yes I should have gone with paint but ummmmm I wanna see if the sticker look nice ar ma -.-. It actually doesn't look that bad.. so yea.... acceptable la.

Nothing Technical to mention. Only the fact that lot of equipment at home is really good when it comes to modelling, esp nail related stuff hahaha. Also really good to invest in some thin paint brush. AND youtube clip is reallllly good if you are interested in different technique on modelling.
