Another thing about the start of a new year is of coz "NEW YEAR RESOLUTION". Which kinda got me thinking, where did this new year resolution trend begin and how did it got started? So off to google I went and this is what I found... ~~ enjoy ^^
ummmmm interesting... "looked for forgiveness from enemies..." ummmm hehehe...The History of New Year's Resolutions
The tradition of the New Year's Resolutions goes all the way back to 153 B.C. Janus, a mythical king of early Rome was placed at the head of the calendar.
With two faces, Janus could look back on past events and forward to the future. Janus became the ancient symbol for resolutions and many Romans looked for forgiveness from their enemies and also exchanged gifts before the beginning of each year.
Okey I guess I should say something then, TO WHOM I might have anger or insulted or have done wrong to in 2006 - I AM DEEPLY SORRY. Let's wipe our board clean and start a-fresh.
Let us all hope that we have some sort of resolution listed out already and that somehow we can accomplish atleast half of what we have written down by the end of 2007 ^-^.
